These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Unrot Social mobile application ("App") provided by Kiryl Famin ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian
• Agree to be bound by these Terms
• Have read and understood our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Unrot Social is a gamified productivity application that helps you earn screen time by completing productive tasks. The App provides:

• Productivity task tracking with two commitment modes: Chill Mode and Lock-In Mode
• A coin system ("brain cells") rewarding task completion
• Streak tracking and streak protection
• Power-up challenges including a push-up counter (using your device camera), breathwork exercises, and daily challenges
• App blocking and reward unlocking via Apple's Screen Time API
• A community activity feed showing generalised usage patterns
• Live Activities and notification support

The App uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to manage app access. This requires you to grant Screen Time authorisation through Apple's system-level consent process.

3. Account and Authorisation

To use the App's blocking and reward features, you must authorise Screen Time access on your device. This authorisation is managed by Apple and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

If you use the push-up counter power-up, you must grant camera access. You may revoke camera permission at any time through your device settings, which will disable that feature.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Options

Unrot Social offers optional premium subscriptions ("Unrot Social Premium") with the following plans:

• Annual: Billed once per year
• Weekly: Billed every week

Current pricing is displayed in the App before purchase.

4.2 Free Trial

New subscribers to the Annual plan may be eligible for a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current annual price.

4.3 Billing and Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Renewal price equals the current subscription price

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.

No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at your next renewal. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Free and Premium Features

The free version of the App includes:

• One productivity task
• Basic notifications
• Core task tracking and coin system

Unrot Social Premium includes:

• Unlimited tasks
• Smart app blocking and reward unlocking
• All power-ups (push-up counter, breathwork, daily challenges)
• Streak Shield
• Custom notification messages
• Unlimited schedules
• Early access to new features

6. Coin System and In-App Economy

Brain cells (coins) earned within the App have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any monetary equivalent. Coins are used solely within the App to unlock screen time on apps you have configured. We reserve the right to modify the coin system, earning rates, and redemption mechanics at any time.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's functionality (including app-blocking features)
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App in any way that violates applicable law

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by the Developer and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• App blocking, coin tracking, or notifications will function perfectly in all circumstances
• The push-up counter will accurately count all repetitions in all conditions
• Results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable

The App is designed as a self-improvement tool. We make no guarantees about your ability to improve productivity, build habits, or reduce screen time.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any errors, bugs, or interruptions in the App
• Unauthorised access to your data
• Any third-party conduct or content

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple's Screen Time API and App Store services. Your use of these services is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of Apple's services.

13. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
• Update these Terms at any time

We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through the courts of England and Wales, except that:

• If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence
• Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the App.
